The flex was always cool IMO. I've always wanted one. My brother had a 2010 flex for a while, and still has it and now his son drives it with 300k on the clock now. It's a little worn now due to his kids having it for the last few years. But it's been really reliable. I just picked up the sister wagon to the flex. I just got the MKT with the ecoboost engine. And it's very peppy to drive.

The ones between dampener and and fuel rail have exceeded permitted bending radius for the hose, unfortunately nobody makes them as they should be made. There is a project to make them properly in UK, also I myself gathered required materials to replicate OE solution using OEM parts, but I need to find some time to visit a company that will create a form for me.

Man, thanks for that. I’ve been considering upgrading from a lightly modified lt1 c4 to a zo6 and things like the tires and the clutch delay valve might change my mind. I love the fast downshifts with my lightweight flywheel. I know doing a clutch on these is also not fun at all. I also don’t have problems finding tires for a late c4 at all.

I enjoy Doug's reviews as well, but I don't like his dougscore system, particularly in the way that it lumps all vehicles together in regards to their performance, he scored the Bronco super low in terms of performance, but also compared directly to million dollar plus hyper cars performance. Doug needs a little more nuance in his scoring system, one for exotics, one for affordable performance, one for non performance cars and a truck/suv category.

I had painted my Tamiya Fiat 500 with Tamiya grey primer, Tamiya TS 7 Racing White and several coats of Humbrol Clear gloss varnish. Over two days I soaked in 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol. Most of the paint down to the primer came off, but slowly. I then started with fine grade steel wool and the rest of the primer came off fairly easily, but a bit tedious getting into all the panels lines and small recesses but with patience it is possible to get back to a re-paintable bare plastic shell.
